National Guardian Life Insurance TEXT[tile] Wall

BrandNu Design Studio was commissioned by National Guardian Life Insurance to create a stunning piece of fine art that marries Afrofuturism and textiles. The TEXT:Tile wall is a remarkable art feature in NGL's recently renovated lobby that spans 14 feet in width and 25 feet in height. It features over 300 tiles, each one a work of art crafted from luxurious Nero Marquina Marble sourced from Italy.

The design of the TEXT:Tile wall was inspired by modern-day hieroglyphics, and it converts the text of NGL's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion statement into a beautiful and meaningful work of art. The BrandNu team, known for their innovative approach to design, worked closely with Quarra Stone to create a stunning installation that blends traditional masonry techniques with state-of-the-art digital fabrication.

The result is a breathtaking representation of NGL's commitment to diversity and inclusion that showcases a seamless integration of traditional and modern techniques in architecture and design. The Afrofuturistic influences can be seen in the intricate patterns and symbols etched onto the marble tiles, which also draw inspiration from textiles. The combination of these influences results in a one-of-a-kind piece of art that is both beautiful and thought-provoking.
